Mr. Kracov frequently works with consultants and regulators including the Department of Toxic Substances Control on brownfield, soil and groundwater remediation. He negotiates real property transactions, including purchase agreements, escrow instructions, title policies and environmental indemnities and insurance for remediation costs and pollution liability.
Mr. Kracov has an in-depth understanding of environmental justice, representing non-profit and government clients in groundbreaking environmental justice efforts. As a prosecutor he directed civil programs in the Environmental Justice Initiative.
